Current Moon Phase
From U.S. Naval Observ.
(Check The Current Weather, Forecast, Sunrise/Sunset
& Moon Phase From The Weather Underground)
See CalendarClub star parties are open to club members and their guests. You do not have to know anything about astronomy or telescopes to attend AAC star parties! Also you do not need to bring a telescope! Club members are always anxious to help beginners learn about the sky and willing to share their telescope viewing time with others.
Star parties begin shortly before sunset. Some star parties feature a short presentation at sunset (so don't be late!) Please be sure to understand the appropriate "Star Party Etiquette" for each location/event, as the rules may vary.
Special event star parties such as the Kanapaha Moonlight Walk are open to the public. Other special star parties are announced under special events.
