Info and Map to Refuge at Ocklawaha Site

The Refuge at Ockalawaha
Experience the
"Real Florida"
The Refuge at Ocklawaha has invited the AAC to hold occasional star parties at its premier eco-resort in the historic Ocklawaha Rivera 52 acre tract sited on the banks of the last three miles of the manmade portion of the Ocklawaha River in the Ocala National Forest. Here AAC members can entertain Ocklawaha guests who stay in cabins while observing under dark, broad skies.

This is a very nice, relatively dark, astronomy site and is well suited for serious star gazing, photography, etc.

Recommendation: Arrive before dark, especially if this is your first visit.
