RICHARD H. ROBERTS

Dr. Richard H. Roberts, AAC member, died Thursday [1999 Oct. 14] at Shands
(University of Florida).  Dr. Roberts was a retired research entomologist who,
along with his surviving wife, Fontaine, enjoyed AAC activities.  Some may
remember that he and his wife traveled with several other AAC members on the
Ms Ryndam in February 1998 in order to observe the total eclipse of the Sun from
the Caribbean.  An obituary appears in the Sunday, October 17, 1999 Gainesville
Sun.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 1999
at St. Joseph's  Episcopal Church, State Road 26 and County Road 241 South. 
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's  Cremains Garden.  In lieu of flowers, donations
can be made to St. Joseph's Episcopal Church Building Fund (P.O. Box 4035,
Newberry, FL 32669), or to Boy Scouts of America in Gainesville, Florida.
