Alachua Astronomy Club: Meetings

Open to the Public

Public meetings are held every month on the second Tuesday except for December when we schedule a holiday party on a Saturday night. These monthly meetings are free and open to the public! In addition, the club is overseen by an elected Executive Council that meets on the first Tuesday of each month.

Meeting agenda usually includes a short business and announcement session, a occasional five minute beginning astronomy talk, a short break, and a 45 minute talk on astronomy by a member or guest speaker. Click on meeting schedule above for details on speakers, titles, etc.

Agenda	The AAC Executive Council meets for dinner and AAC business. All club officers and council members expected to attend. All other club members and their families welcome!

Come and help plan club events—council meeting are often more fun than regular monthly meetings!

Board Members have access to board information materials including board information packets (rules, forms, etc.), minutes, logos, etc.

December Holiday Party The AAC does not have a regular meeting in December. Instead, the AAC holds a holiday party for club members (usually on a Saturday night during the first half of December). Check the December meeting schedule of the current year for details.
