- Gold Head Branch State Park East of Gainesville, near Keystone Heights.
- Jacobs' Observing Site A frequent star party site.
- Heinrich Residence 60 miles northwest of Gainesville, and five miles east of Live Oak.
- Kanapaha Site of the semiannual "Moonlight Walk" public star parties
- Moondance Hill (Randy's House) A dark site near UF's Rosemary Hill Observatory
- Paynes Prairie State Preserve Special AAC star parties here in conjunction with Friends of Paynes Prairie.
