Kanapaha Botanical Gardens

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens is located on 62 acres of woodlands and meadows with butterflies, herbs, hummingbirds, rock and sunken gardens. Largest collection of bamboo in Florida; water lily pond, gazebos and gift shop.

The Gardens are off SR 24 (Archer Rd.), 1.2 mi. west of I-75 (Exit #75)
(Enter SW 58 Dr. on north side of SW Archer Rd.)
Kanapaha Botanical Gardens sponsors a "Moonlight Walk" on a spring Saturday evening (usually near time of a full moon). The Alachua Astronomy Club (AAC) brings telescopes, and members are present to answer questions.
Admission Prices
(Subject to change without notice)
- Daily: $2.00 adults, $1.00 children under 13, children under 6 free.
- Moonlight Walk: $4.00 adults, $3.00 children under 13, children under 6 free.
- Normal Hours of Operation Mon. Tue., Fri., 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Wed., Sat., Sun., 9:00 a.m. - Dusk
- Closed Thursdays

- Kanapaha Botanical Gardens is located off the north side of Archer Road about 1.6 miles west of Interstate 75.
