Homemade Dew Controler

On March 18th, 2003, Joel Centeno, one of our new members, demonstrated to the AAC-ATM SIG how to make a parallel or series resistor that will keep the dew away from your eyepiece, finder or tube!

The meeting was held at the Seminar Room of the Physics Department at the University of Florida. As is now tradition, this was a hands-on project where the club member could visualize how the work is performed. Thanks to Joel for the demonstration!

Thanks to Don Loftus for taking and providing the pictures.

Thanks to Joel Centeno for showing us how to stave off the dew!
Sometime soon, we will post his slide presentation here with the details of the circuit and the math. Keep checking back!
