Pale Blue Dot

by George Russell

My daughter gave me Carl Sagan's new book as a Christmas gift and as stated on the title page, A Vision of the Human Future in Space, it certainly seems to be a sequel to his previous book Cosmos. Profusely illustrated with the latest pictures from the Hubble spacecraft including pictures of the recent impact of Jupiter by fragments from the Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, the book holds one's interest with considerable tenacity.

I am about half way through the book and when I finish, I will immediately reread this most fascinating story of Sagan's concern of humans reaching out into space. I hope you have a chance to read it too!
